Nine lessons on shopping, batch cooking and freezer meals for a home kitchen where the appetite has gone quiet, so the small side plate that now counts as a whole meal still carries something worth eating.
Nine lessons. One home kitchen. A week of meals that holds when the appetite does not.
The fridge fills with food bought by an older appetite and the bin quietly takes most of it. A plate that used to look ordinary now looks enormous, and cooking for a family table while eating a side plate yourself starts to feel like two separate jobs.
This course runs the whole week from the shopping list to the freezer shelf. What to buy when you cannot predict which days will be flat, how to cook once on a good afternoon and portion it small, what to keep in the cupboard for a day with nothing in it, and how one pot feeds the family and you at the same table. You leave with your own week written down.
Women in the first months: cooking for a household while eating very little of it.
Anyone doing the family shop: filling a trolley for appetites that no longer match.
Women who batch cook already: who need smaller portions and a fuller freezer.
This course is part of the academy's invite-only offering.
